Welcome to Silver Spring Elementary School, home of the Eagles!

Location

Silver Spring is one of eight elementary schools in the Cumberland Valley School District. We are located behind the Cumberland Valley High School and next to Eagle View Middle School on the Cumberland Valley Educational Campus.

Instruction

Serving over 500 students in Kindergarten through 5th Grade, our staff works to create meaningful learning experiences for all of our students. The Silver Spring Team includes about 40 teachers, a school counselor, nurse, and 20 support staff. Our professional staff includes specialists in speech, English Language Development (ELD), Occupational Therapy (OT), psychology, and learning support. We are committed to helping all children reach their fullest academic potential. In addition to standard instruction in language arts, math, science, and social studies, CV elementary schools also provide art, music, library, computer, and physical education. Students in fourth and fifth grade also have the opportunity to receive instruction in band and orchestra instruments.
